~1940's "C" Engraved Sweetheart Bracelet | Pitman and Keeler

Classic vintage sweetheart expansion bracelet, featuring a heart engraved with a "C." The inside is marked "Pitman and Keeler, American Queen, Sterling Base." These bracelets were popularized in the WWII era. 

This is in a rosier, almost brassy gold tone. There is some gold tone loss, which is reflected in the price. An acid scratch test indicates that this is around 10-12kt. These bracelets are often gold filled, but this could be plated. Note that these bracelets usually fit small. This was comfortable on my 6" (small!) wrist.
